Alan Stevens over at Personal Computer World reviewed I’m InTouch 7.1 and described it as “a hosted service that delivers more than just remote control,” and with “a number of features designed to make it stand out.”
One of the points covered in the review is regarding I’m InTouch Premium’s remote wake-up feature. Unlike other remote access software solutions, with I’m InTouch Premium you do not have to leave your PC on all the time to be able to access it. As long as you have more than one PC on your network, any computer that is already powered on can remotely wake-up your PC when you need to remotely access it.

IT Reviews tested out the new version 7.1 of 01 Communique’s I’m InTouch Premium remote access software and came away impressed. The final verdict:
“An affordable alternative to conventional remote access products, the hosted I’m InTouch service is both secure and easy to use. It compares well on price and performance against other such services and stands out through its support for wireless mobile devices, direct access to Outlook data and the ability to power remote PCs on and off.”

Brian Nadel of Computerworld reviewed the I’m InTouch SecureKEY remote access USB stick. A snippet of what he had to say:
“Using SecureKey, you can do just about anything remotely that you can do sitting in front of your host computer, regardless of whether you’re using a netbook in Nanking or a library computer in Cleveland.”

Compose Remote Emails
Web Worker Daily just posted an article written by Meryl Evans about I’m InTouch 7.1 remote access. Meryl wrote in the article that “I’m InTouch offers an easy-to-use solution that allows you to connect with your own desktop machine through another computer, notebook or mobile device.” Read the entire article here.
One of the points brought up in the article is about I’m InTouch’s extensive support for wireless devices. For Windows Mobile device users, you can control your Remote Desktop to run any program on your distant computer. It’s no different from remotely controlling your PC from another computer.
For users of other wireless devices, you can access your Remote Email in Outlook, receive wireless notifitications of new emails, access your files, and view your webcam.
