Student Uses I’m InTouch Remote Access Smartly

“I’m InTouch is great!!!! I use it to connect to my remote desktop from my job. I am currently a student and working a full time job. I often have down time at work and I am able to write my papers at work without having any word processing software on the machines at work. I don’t have to worry about corrupted data transferring documents back and forth from web storage since it’s all on my machine at home. I searched for hours for some practical way of doing homework at my office, installed many products that just didn’t work, and then I found I’m InTouch. It solved all of my problems and is super easy to use. Thank you guys.”

I’m InTouch vs. VPNs for Remote Desktop Control

For organizations looking to provide employees with remote access to their desktop PCs, the choice will probably be between a remote access solution like I’m InTouch and a VPN. While every situation is different, for the most part, your company will probably be better off going with I’m InTouch for several important reasons:

Ease of Implementation
With I’m InTouch, your remote access system can be up and running in as little as a few minutes.  Even if you choose to deploy the I’m InTouch Server Edition, your remote access system will be ready for use in no time. I’m InTouch is not only faster to set up than a VPN, it is a lot easier as well.  No complicated configurations or set-up procedures, just a simple installation on the computer you need to provide remote access to.

Flexibility
Unlike most VPNs where you need to install software on the device you will be using to remotely control your PC, with I’m InTouch, no software needs to be installed on the remote device. A quick installation on your desktop PC allows it to be remotely accessed from any wired or wireless device with an Internet connection and browser in the world.

Cost
VPNs are also costly to implement and maintain. Unlike I’m InTouch where all support and upgrades are handled by 01 Communique, with a VPN, you will probably have to do all the work.  If anything goes wrong with your VPN, you will need to spend the money to solve the problem. If you do not have an IT department on site, this can be a huge issue. Why take the risk when I’m InTouch is available for a low monthly or yearly cost with all support included for free.

Using this feature also means you do not have to worry about transferring files to a USB memory stick or emailing them to yourself. There is no need to plan ahead and anticipate the exact documents you will need to print since you can login to your PC at anytime. Web Worker Daily Reviews I’m InTouch Remote Access

Compose Remote Emails

Web Worker Daily just posted an article written by Meryl Evans about I’m InTouch 7.1 remote access.   Meryl wrote in the article that “I’m InTouch offers an easy-to-use solution that allows you to connect with your own desktop machine through another computer, notebook or mobile device.”  Read the entire article here.

One of the points brought up in the article is about I’m InTouch’s extensive support for wireless devices.  For Windows Mobile device users, you can control your Remote Desktop to run any program on your distant computer.  It’s no different from remotely controlling your PC from another computer.

For users of other wireless devices, you can access your Remote Email in Outlook, receive wireless notifitications of new emails, access your files, and view your webcam.
