You have to remember a different password for everything these days, your computer, your bank, your alarm system, your office, the list goes on and on. But what if you could keep the protection of multiple passwords without having to remember them?

The I’m InTouch SecureKEY USB remote access stick does this very thing by allowing you to safely store your I’m InTouch login information on it and then automatically remotely access your PC just by plugging the SecureKEY into any computer.  Plus, you require that your SecureKEY is required to remotely access your PC so even if someone stole your passwords, they would not be able to access your PC since your SecureKEY would not be present.

Never Worry About Remembering Another Remote Access Password Again

With the I’m InTouch SecureKEY Remote Access USB Stick, taking remote control of your distant PC is as easy as plugging a USB drive into a computer. The SecureKEY allows you to safely store your I’m InTouch remote access login information on the device and then automatically take remote control of your distant computer in seconds, just by plugging it into the USB slot of any PC with an Internet connection.

Not only does the SecureKEY make remotely accessing your PC a breeze, it also ensures that there is no possbility of unauthorized remote access. I’m InTouch Premium users can require that only a computer with their personal SecureKEY inserted into the USB slot can be used to remotely access their PC.  This means that even if somebody were to somehow learn your remote access login information, they would be unable to remotely control your PC since they would not have your SecureKEY.

Andrew Weiner of Examiner.com recently took a look at the SecureKEY.  See what he had to say here.

Canadian SMBs Are Not Secure - Remote Access Can Help

A recent article on itbusiness.ca discussed a study sponsored by Symantec Canada that found 35% of SMBs in Canada have not deployed even basic computer security measures. This despite the fact that 54% have had a company laptop or smartphone lost or stolen. The major reasons stated in the article for the negligence of security were costs, technical know-how and time.

The I’m InTouch Remote Access Platform  allows organizations facing these issues to still protect their data.  I’m InTouch  is cost-effective, does not require intricate technical knowledge to install or operate and can be up and running within minutes.

With I’m InTouch, companies can ensure all their data stays securely on the corporate network and avoid any instances of data loss from stolen laptops. Employees can remotely control their office workstation using the I’m InTouch SecurePC Remote Access Terminal or any laptop, without any information being transferred outside the office.

Study Finds Average Value of Lost Laptop nearly $50,000

A study by the Ponemon Institute and Intel found that the average cost of replacing a lost laptop is $49,246 when you factor in such costs as replacement, data breach and lost intellectual property. This number may seem high but when you consider how valuable the information stored on a corporate laptop is it begins to sound a lot more reasonable. The dollar amount also does not take into account the headaches and stress that come with explaining to employees, customers, shareholders and the public that your business lost their confidential information.

A smarter way to allow employees to work from outside the office is using the I’m InTouch SecurePC Remote Access Terminal. SecurePC users can remotely control their office workstation from anywhere using the I’m InTouch remote access service. No files can be saved to the terminal and all data stays safely on the workstation in the office behind your corporate firewall. This means that if a SecurePC is lost, the only cost is replacing the hardware - About $600, a lot less than the nearly $50,000 cost of replacing a laptop with information stored on it.

Prevent Data Leaks from Laptops with the SecurePC Remote Access Terminal

About I’m InTouch Server Edition

I’m InTouch-SE (Server Edition) is a remote access software solution that allows IT managers to easily deploy a highly secure remote access solution for employees. Unlike a regular IPSec VPN that operates on the network layer of the OSI model, I’m InTouch-SE has a private portal architecture (US Patent #6,928,479) that operates on the Application layer. Therefore it does not open the whole network to the remote user. Instead it inherits the same accessibility or portions of it he/she has been granted by the IT manager at the workstation.

It is also different from a standard SSL-VPN that needs to configure for each application. SSL-VPN also requires the remote client (the PC where you are remotely accessing from) to have the application installed and therefore it does not support most wireless thin clients. I’m InTouch on the other hand, does not require configuration for each application. It does not even require the remote client to have the application installed. As a result, the remote client can be a very rudimentary PC or wireless thin client only loaded with an Internet browser. This makes installation and setting up easy.

To be more precise, I’m InTouch users inherit the same access privileges his/her workstation has as their maximum allowed access right. IT managers can further restrict this if necessary by using the Administration Tools. For example, the IT manager could grant only access to Outlook but not remote control for an off-site sales person.
